Sterling, is located on the second level of the 1825 Main House. With a nod towards 1920′s classy art deco design with silver wallpaper juxtaposed by dark-painted lower walls, Sterling offers a king pencil-post bed, mirrored nightstands and console table, empire sofa, and a pair of grey leather club chairs found in the prohibition hideaways of the era, all in view of the gas log fireplace. The full private bath offers lots of vanity space, large mirrors, and plenty of lighting. Enjoy a cocktail or picnic lunch on the covered semi-private porch with grand views of Franconia Notch and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Spend a few days in Sterling and take yourselves back to the speakeasy days of yesteryear.
