This is the only accessible room in the inn. Located in our 1795 House on ground level with ramp leading to 36” wide entry door, our ADA-compliant Turnabout room provides luxury lodging for your Northern Vermont vacation. One king bed is of proper height and has more than enough clearance on either side. Closet shelf and bar heights are appropriate. The room offers a gas-log fireplace with timer controls at proper height. Window-darkening features include draw blinds with reachable controls.
Access to the bathroom is through a 36” door opening with lever-type handle. Toilet and sink are of appropriate height and depth with grab bars positioned as per code. The room offers a 36″x48″ roll-in shower with drop-down seat and hand-held showerhead on a sliding rail.
The room also offers a two-person whirlpool tub. Although there are grab bars to the side of the tub, use of them will be determined by the individual.
The room is equipped with a strobe-and-sound fire alarm.

The Turnabout, located on the ground level of our 1795 House and only a 30-second walk to the Main House, offers a covered porch with settee and cushioned side chairs and private outside entrance with an oversized tavern door original to this building. Colonial in decor, The Turnabout is flavored in cranberry and chocolate with exposed hand-hewn beams and wide-board floors. In addition to a king-size canopy bed, this room features a gas fireplace in the sitting area with couch and wingback chair, a handcrafted Windsor chair and a blanket chest coffee table.
The large tile bathroom contains a large roll-in shower with drop-down seat, and oversized two-person whirlpool tub. The Turnabout offers disability-accessible luxury and conforms to the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.
