River Mist, located on the first level of the Main House, boasts a little extra space than the other Classic rooms at our Vermont B&B. An ante-room with daybed is a great extension of the main room and allows sleeping for a third adult thus making it a great room for girls’ vacations or weekend getaways in New England. Or, use it as a separate sitting area for late-night reading or puzzling without keeping your partner awake. Furnishings include a king-size bed and two comfy wingback chairs. Color scheme is gray tones with hits of burgundy. River Mist is a very bright corner room with a picture window to capture the lovely mountain view, often capped with the early morning mist of the Connecticut River. The full private bathroom features a vanity and combination tub and shower.
Rates adjust by the season and always include, full country breakfast, afternoon tea pastries and beverage appropriate for the changing New England weather.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival result in forfeiture of the cost of one night’s room and tax; cancellations within 72 hours forfeit the cost of the entire stay.
