Rabbit Hill Inn Reopens on June 18th. Some Travel Restrictions Apply.

Our opening day is June 18th. The biggest question is… “Can you visit Rabbit Hill Inn?”

For now, by state mandate, we are allowed to welcome fellow Vermonters and limited out of state guests from “approved” surrounding counties (based on number of active Covid cases in each county).  For stays beyond July 15, we are still accepting reservations from any location.  However, updated mandates may cause us to modify this as we proceed.

On June 5th, Governor Scott issued the following travel restrictions to Vermont. The details are shown below. Please use this  interactive map showing which counties CAN travel to Vermont without a quarantine (only counties in blue or teal). This restriction remains in effect until July 1st when updated guidance will be released.

In a nutshell, using this interactive map as our guide, we are allowed to host guests coming from the counties highlighted in blue or teal. Visitors from other areas must qualify their quarantine status according to the details below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: KEEP CHECKING THIS MAP – IT IS UPDATED FREQUENTLY.

If you are coming from an “approved” county, PLEASE NOTE the following:

  • Residents from a non-quarantine county may travel to Vermont without quarantine restrictions if they travel directly to Vermont in their personal vehicle. This includes overnight travel, commuting for work, leisure visits and recreation. No transport to VT via air, train, bus, etc.
  • All out of state travelers are strongly encouraged to register with Sara Alert upon arrival to Vermont to get two weeks of daily reminders to check for common symptoms of COVID-19.

If you are coming from a “Non-approved” county:
EFFECTIVE 6/15: Travelers may complete either: (i) a 14-day quarantine; or (ii) a 7-day quarantine followed by a negative test – in their home state and enter Vermont without further quarantine restrictions if they drive directly from their home via their personal vehicle. You will be required to sign a document certifying your valid quarantine status.
