Lower Waterford, VT – On July 10th, Travel+Leisure Magazine revealed the winners of
the 24th Annual World’s Best Awards including the Top 100 Hotels in the World. Rabbit Hill Inn, a luxury inn tucked away in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, surpassed its prior years’ rankings, both domestically and globally, to be named #1 Top Resort Hotel in the Northeast, #3 Top Resort Hotel in the USA, and #27 of Top 100 Hotels in the World.
Travel+Leisure World’s Best Awards are considered one of the most significant accolades in travel. To be included on this list is a world-renowned mark of excellence for travel and hospitality companies globally. The award honors the finest travel experiences in the world selected by Travel+Leisure’s global readership of discerning travelers. Over 300,000 readers participate in the annual survey. They rate their travel experiences and evaluate hotels across the world on characteristics such as rooms, location, service, food, value, and overall guest experience.

With an impressive score of 96.89 compiled from survey respondents’ ratings, Rabbit Hill Inn took its place among only the most luxurious hotels and exclusive getaway destinations around the globe. Only a handful of inns made it to the T+L World’s Best list putting Rabbit Hill Inn on a very short list of top inns in the world.
Rabbit Hill Inn is no stranger to this esteemed list as the inn appeared on T+L’s World’s Best Hotels list in 2018, 2017, 2012, 2011, and 2009. However, the 2019 rankings are higher than ever before.
