VERMONT’S RABBIT HILL INN NAMED AMONG THE 2018 WORLD’S BEST AWARDS BY TRAVEL & LEISURE
Rated #13 of the TOP 15 Resort Hotels in the USA, #2 Best Resort Hotel in the Northeast!
Lower Waterford, VT – On July 11th, Travel & Leisure Magazine revealed the winners of the 23rd Annual World’s Best Awards including the Top Hotels in the World. Rabbit Hill Inn, a luxury inn located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, has been named #13 of the Top 15 Resort Hotels in the USA. Rabbit Hill Inn also landed the #2 position on the list of Top 10 Resort Hotels in the Northeast.
Each year, ratings are determined by Travel + Leisure’s readership in the World’s Best survey. This survey reviews all aspects of the property, including environment, ambiance, hospitality, service, accommodations, dining, value, and overall guest experience. The World’s Best Awards are one of the most significant accolades in travel, and this year was more competitive than ever. Over 300,000 T+L readers participated in a survey to identify the best of the best in the industry.
With an impressive score of 93.89 compiled from survey respondents’ ratings, Rabbit Hill Inn took its place among most luxe hotels throughout the USA and beyond, such as Thailand, Peru, and exclusive European destination getaways. Only a handful of inns made it to the T+L Worlds Best Awards putting Rabbit Hill Inn on a very short list of top inns worldwide. RHI earned the No. 13 spot in the USA and No.2 spot in the Northeast. No stranger to this esteemed list, the inn appeared on T+L’s World’s Best Hotels list in 2017, 2012, 2011, and 2009.
“We are truly humbled and absolutely thrilled to learn of our place on the T+L World’s Best Awards list,” said Leslie Mulcahy, co-owner of the Rabbit Hill Inn. “Knowing that our score comes primarily from guests who took the time to rate the Rabbit Hill Inn brings us the biggest satisfaction. The commendation from our guests, placing us among very best hotels worldwide, is the best attribution we and our staff could ask for. And it’s a true testament to our amazing Rabbit Hill Inn staff, who are dedicated to consistently provide our signature guest experience, brilliant cuisine, and exceptional service with warmth and sincerity” finished Mulcahy.
Icing on the cake were further sentiments by Travel + Leisure readers – “…The public spaces have a cozy, familiar feel (a number of readers commented on the large collection of Stave puzzles) and the dining room evokes the wayside inns of an earlier century. Many readers praised the innkeepers, Brian and Leslie Mulcahy, who “strive to create a destination where you feel that you are the center of a loving hearth,” as one voter commented.
A full-service Vermont bed & breakfast inn and AAA Four Diamond-rated restaurant, the Rabbit Hill Inn offers luxe accommodations, fine dining and plentiful high-end amenities.
