The Pine Hill Trail leads you to the ridge of a hill, passing by huge boulders (remnants of glaciers from over 10,000 yrs ago). You’ll see the “Summit Boulder” at the top of the hill and several others on the path returning you back to Pine Hill Rd. You’ll get a kick out of the Tea Pot Rock (an old logging camp from early 1900’s). Turn left at the sign to return to Remich Park & the parking area.
- The Pine Hill Trail is very close to the starting point for the Parker Mountain Trails (a more extensive trail system). So watch your signage not to stray off the Pine Hill Trail.
- Bring plenty of insect / tick repellent. You’ll have much more fun if you are well protected.
