If you haven’t been to The Brick Store yet, you HAVE to put it on your list of “must do’s” next time you’re here. To start with, it’s the oldest continuously operated general store in the United States dating back to 1790. On top of that, it is next to the fantastic historic Bath Covered Bridge. The village of Bath is a must-stop destination — a real piece of Americana where you can spend hours perusing the Brick Store, cooling off with a sundae at the ice cream shop, browsing through an art gallery, or relaxing on the deck overlooking the picturesque Ammonoosuc River and the Covered Bridge.
As you step inside, prepare yourself to taste amazing things, especially Nancy’s fudge (aka – the world’s most heavenly fudge). Jim’s smokehouse offers you outstanding selections of pepperoni, sausages, bacons & cheeses. The store is packed with wonderful things and terrific people. When you go, be sure to tell Mike, Nancy, Jim, and the family that Leslie & Brian said “hi”.
Although nothing can compare to actually visiting this amazing store to experience the sights, sounds, and smells that greet you there, you can peek inside right now. Visit their website and start shopping from home. Did I mention the fudge? I swear, you’ve never had it this good!!!
Be sure to follow them on FaceBook – it’s a great way to keep up the constant Brick Store fun!
